Helene Hartman, M.Sc.

CEO
Helene holds a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from Lund Technical University. She is a strategic leader with 25 years experience in product, technology and business development. She has an extensive experience in driving change and reaching results by building bridges between stakeholders, often in complex intercultural environments. Helene is also a board member of Sparbanken Öresund.

Artur Schmidtchen, MD, PhD, Professor

CMO and Founder

Prof. Artur Schmidtchen is senior consultant at Skåne University Hospital and Head of Dermatology at Lund University. He has published over 140 scientific papers, in journals such as Nature Communications, PNAS, JBC, PLOS Pathogens, Biochemistry, and Blood. His research has been awarded several times in Sweden, and notably he was awarded the prestigious Fernström award for young investigators. He is a board member of the Swedish Welander Foundation, and chief editor of the journal Acta Dermato-Venereologica.

Manoj Puthia, DVM, PhD

CSO

Dr. Manoj Puthia holds a PhD in microbiology and immunology from National University of Singapore and has over 10 years of experience in preclinical research involving novel therapies for inflammation, infection and cancer. He is a research scientist at the Department of Clinical Sciences in Lund University, Sweden. Dr Puthia has authored over 20 papers in journals like Science Translational Medicine, Gut, Journal of Clinical Investigation, Nature Biotechnology and Immunity.

Anne Jungermann, M.Sc.

Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, Pharmaceutical development

Anne Jungermann’s more than 25 years’ experience of pharmaceutical and analytical development includes preclinical to late clinical phases as well as commercial manufacture from large pharma and small biotech businesses. Anne is a senior Quality and Regulatory advisor within the areas of Pharma and Medical device quality management and regulations. Her technical and scientific expertise is formulation development, quality control, sterilization processes and aseptic handling.

Karin Larsson, PhD

Business development

Dr. Karin Larsson has a Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Lund University and a Diploma in Marketing Management from the Executive Foundation Lund, School of Economics and Management, Lund University. She has twenty years of experience in the Pharma and Life-Science industry and more than ten years of experience in Business Development, working in both small and large organizations including Novo Nordisk A/S, (now Novozymes), Bioglan AB and Alligator Bioscience AB. Karin is co-founder and co-owner of the consultancy company VetenskapsFabriken AB.

Thomas Unt, M.Sc.

Business Development, Financial strategy

Thomas holds a Masters degree in Organisation from Lund University and has many years of experience in the financial industry. He has been active in a number of entrepreneurial development companies with responsibility for venture capital acquisition and corporate structure. Thomas is also a business coach at SmiLe incubator, Medicon Village.

Marta Butrym, M.Sc.

Project Assistant

Marta holds a Masters degree in Biology from Warsaw University. She has three years experience from Lund University working with wound healing and wound infections models.
